DR. LUCETRY DALTON

Dr. Lucetry B. Dalton a proud native of Pontiac Michigan, joins the National Activist Care Network with over a decade of clinical experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and earned both Master of Arts and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington D.C. Campus. Upon completing doctoral course work, Dr. Dalton returned to her home state of Michigan to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology at McLaren-Flint hospital, providing clinical services to underprivileged populations and medical education to residents & medical students. Currently, Dr. Dalton is employed as a full time Clinical Psychologist with the Rock Health Collective powered by Premise Health in Detroit, MI. She is a published researcher, author and founder and CEO of The Dalton Process Academy, LLP a sport and mental health training academy. Among her many professional accomplishments, Dr. Dalton was selected as the Top Winner and Most Elite of the Oakland County Executive Elite 40 under 40 Class of 2018, making her the first woman of color and the youngest to receive this honor. Also in 2018 she was awarded the highest honor of Proclamation by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners as well as being named Pontiac’s “Hometown Hero” by Mayor Deidre Waterman. Dr. Dalton’s clinical work is undergirded by a strong passion towards transitioning her hometown into a continuously thriving community.
