My name is Joyce Evangelist-Ajvix and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Az, since 2004.  I completed a master's degree in counseling in 1997, and I am dedicated to my work in helping people.  I have gained experience in a variety of areas and populations over these years.   

 

Particular areas of interest have been with disenfranchised populations, such as the homeless, seriously mentally ill, incarcerated persons, ethnically and culturally diverse individuals.  This included crisis work, as well as brief treatment and long-term counseling. My previous work and support have also been with persons having substance use disorders and working worldwide with active duty military members at their foreign duty stations. 

 

I deeply love working with people to help them overcome difficulties and discomfort in life and coming to a point of seeing positive change and life skill building. It is my life's work to help others create better lives, relationships, and better communities.
