NACN CLINICIANS:
TENNESSEE
VERONICA WADE-HAMPTON
As a native of the Mississippi Delta, it has been my continued goal to increase knowledge and advocacy in the critical area of mental health. It has been my experience that when advocacy is propelled through education, resources and support, this not only brings much needed awareness but helps to break the stigma associated with mental health that hinders a massive population from receiving help. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with specialty credentials in the states of Tennessee (MHSP) and Arkansas (CMHS) as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor. I am currently also seeking licensure in the state of Mississippi. As a mental health professional with over fifteen years of experience, it is my goal and obligation to help connect individuals, couples, and families to available services. Whereas I cannot meet the needs of every person in need of assistance, I can do my part in providing clinical services to those in my community.
I have over 16 years experience in the mental health field. I offer a continuum of services to help children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing behavioral, emotional or addictive problems that can lead to shattered lives. Areas of practice include but are not limited to: trauma, mood disorder/depression, alcohol and substance, ADD/ADHD, Behavior Management, Grief/Bereavement, Anger Management, Stress Management, Conflict resolution, Parenting (also teen), Moral Reconation Therapy, and domestic violencesessions.
